In dit verhaal komen geen robots voor, maar draait het rond een disfunctionele familie, die door de dood van hun vader terug samengebracht wordt. Tijdens die periode, komen oude wonden terug aan de oppervlakte en komt er nieuw leven in oude passies.
De indrukwekkende cast van THIS IS WHERE I LEAVE YOU, doet je al direct hopen op net dat ietsje extra. Het samenspel tussen hen zit blijkbaar heel goed en tijdens de trailer moet je moeite doen om die grijns van je eigen gezicht weg te vegen.
